Bob Dylan on the Yankees

I never thought much about Bob Dylan as a sports analyst until  recently listening to "Everything is Broken".

While Teixeira remains the Early 2009 Poster Boy for Futility, he has one of the, to date, worst pitching staffs in major league baseball to keep him company.

How bad are they?

ERA - 29th (only Cleveland has a higher ERA)
1st (tie with Cleveland) in Most Runs Allowed
Saves - 22nd
Batting Average Against - 24th
BB allowed - 3rd

The only surprise is that they allow so many walks. Who wants to take a pitch against a staff that everyone is hitting all over and out of the park?
